BUTTERMILK PIE


2 cups Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
4 oz Melted Butter
4 Eggs, beat lightly
1/2 cup Buttermilk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp Pie Spice

Thoroughly mix the first three ingredients. Add the melted butter; mix well. Add the eggs and beat together lightly. Add the buttermilk and the vanilla.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Pour the mixture into a store bought or from scratch pie shell. Bake at 300 degrees for 550 to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, sprinkle with pie spice and cool on a wire rack. Serve cool.
